Suzanne Willets-Brooks
Integrative Movement Specialist
Suzanne Willets Brooks has been a movement practitioner for over 30 years. She has a BS in dance Education from EMU where she started her deep interest in anatomy and how to integrate human movement and healing. Curiosity as to how our body truly functions led her to trainings at EarthDance Studio and Dance Alloy where she focused on Feldenkreis BMC and indigenous dances of the African Diaspora. She studied yoga for 15 years with Angela Farmer and Victor Vankooten in their teacher un-training courses, while simultaneously earning certifications with a focus on emotional and physical integrative work as well as several massage and energy therapy modalities from the Green Mt Institute and Body Wisdom school. She studied and earned certifications in Pilates, GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® However, ultimately it was The Franklin Method® that helped her connect Embodied anatomy with movement and heal her own sacral and pelvic injuries from scoliosis and the births of her two daughters. Suzanne is a level 3 FM® Graduate. She has studied and embodied: bones, muscles, fascia, organs and the nervous system. Suzanne has been teaching Franklin Method® workshops on anatomy for 10 years .
