    Pilates Instructor Training


The team at MOVE Wellness believes that everyone deserves to move well, and get as strong as they want to live a life they love. We are committed to creating an atmosphere of trust so that clients feel supported to reach their goals.


We are looking for motivated Pilates and GYROTONIC® instructors to teach in our studio. Our trainers have exceptional interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and a high degree of motivation and participation in building a practice. They are growth-minded, possess a strong knowledge and understanding of anatomy and human movement, and have experience teaching a wide variety of clientele, including special populations.

Pilates Instructors will teach private sessions and small group classes at all levels utilizing all Pilates apparatus, including Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Barrels, and Stability Chair.

Gyrotonic Instructors will teach private sessions and possibly tower classes. Further training in Jumping Stretching Board, Archway, and Gyrotoner is recommended.

Instructors are available a minimum of six hours per week including afternoon, evening and Saturday hours. Preference will be given to those who have flexible schedules and are interested in building their schedule up to 20+ hours or “full-time”.


For both Pilates and Gyrotonic Trainers, we will consider candidates with comprehensive teacher training with plans to complete full certification within the year. We offer a supportive environment to mentor you to finish your certification.

  • Pilates:
    Comprehensive certification preferred or in process (Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels and Injuries & Special Populations) through the National Pilates Certification Program, STOTT Pilates, classical or other recognized certification program. We welcome both classical and contemporary trainers.
    Gyrotonic trainers must be a minimum of Level 1 certified or trained, with a valid license, and should have a desire to expand their knowledge with the specialized equipment and Gyrokinesis.

  • What we ask of you
  • • Continue your own study and practice of the movement systems that you teach

    • Follow all MOVE trainer protocols and general staff expectations in the staff handbook

    • For Pilates trainers, teach the MOVE class formats for Small Group Classes

    • Challenge clients to progress safely through their training

    • Attend staff meetings and staff classes

    • Complete the MOVE Introductory Session training

    • Take initiative to build your professional practice at MOVE

    • Engage with the MOVE community through client interactions, promotional opportunities and team-building events

    • Maintain current certifications through appropriate continuing education.

    • Have a valid CPR license and professional liability insurance

Front Desk

Our front desk staff are upbeat and motivated fitness-minded individuals who serve as the face, hands, and feet of our studio for our private session and small group class clients. We strive to create a warm, inviting atmosphere for clients and staff and conduct ourselves in a manner that reflects this – always.
